My Approach to Therapy
My Approach
Here's how I see therapy: it's not about me having all the answers while you sit there and nod. It works best when we're genuinely partnering together—figuring out what you want, what's getting in the way, and how to actually get you there. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where couples, individuals, and teens can dig into what's really going on and tap into the resilience and strengths you already have (even when you can't see them yet).
I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relational health—basically, the stuff that makes life feel hard and heavy. I also focus on Brainspotting for athletes, performers, and writers who are tired of hitting walls and want to break through performance blocks.
How We'll Work Together
This is your therapy, guided by your goals—what matters to you, what you want to feel different, where you actually want to go. We'll start by looking at what's already working (because something always is, even if it doesn't feel like it) and build on those strengths. At the same time, I'll give you real, practical coping skills and mindfulness practices—tools you can actually use, not just theories that sound nice.
My approach is eclectic and holistic, which is just a fancy way of saying I customize our work to fit your unique needs, background, and pace. What works for you might look completely different from what works for someone else, and that's exactly how it should be.

My Philosophy
Why I Do This Work
We all deserve compassion, kindness, and goodwill—full stop. My purpose is simple: to help ease your suffering and increase your joy. I genuinely believe it's a tremendous privilege to walk alongside you during this part of your journey. Together, I hope we can discover and celebrate what makes you you—your purpose, your unique strengths, and all the things that help you thrive.

A Bit About Me
I'm a hiker, gardener, adventurer, and Air Force veteran. I've also spent years working in the arts and entertainment industry as well as the medical field—so yeah, I've been around a bit. I approach life (and therapy) with curiosity and a sense of humor, because honestly, sometimes that's what gets us through the hard stuff. My style is grounded and direct—I'm not going to tiptoe around things or give you therapist-speak when straight talk will do.
I'm certified in both Brainspotting and the Oaklander model of Play Therapy, which gives me some pretty powerful tools to help you work through whatever you're facing.
