My Approach as a Mental Performance Coach

Mental Performance Coaching
That’s Practical, Individualized, and Built for Pressure

We start by looking at what actually changes for you when the pressure is on.

Where does your attention go? What happens after a mistake? When do you begin to hesitate, second-guess yourself, or consciously manage something that usually happens naturally?

From there, we identify your individual pressure patterns and build practical strategies for preparation, staying present, making clear decisions, recovering when something goes wrong, and trusting what you have already trained.

Then we pay attention to what happens when you use those strategies in training and competition. What works? What falls apart when the stakes rise? What needs to be adjusted?

Over time, the goal is to build a mental-performance approach that feels like yours, one you understand, can adapt, and know how to use when competition gets messy.

My Philosophy

You do not have to feel perfectly calm to perform well. Pressure is part of competition.

The goal is not to eliminate every uncomfortable thought, feeling, or physical response. The goal is to get better at what you do when pressure shows up. That is a performance skill you can train.

Performance Coaching, Not Psychotherapy

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but the work I offer through this practice is performance coaching, not psychotherapy. It does not include diagnosis, treatment of a mental-health condition, or crisis care. If something comes up that falls outside the scope of performance coaching, I may recommend appropriate clinical or other professional support.
